Brio then launched an engagement assessment with Amélio in 2022 to gain clearer visibility into its employees' wellbeing.
For Brio, in a spirit of continuous improvement, it's fundamental to take a critical yet caring look at practices, both within the organizations its advisors support and within its own team.
With constructive feedback being part of everyday life for Brio's employees, the engagement surveys run on the Amélio platform helped surface the real issues so the firm could target concrete actions.

Made up of both HR members and employees, the joint Briotins working committee was already busy organizing social events and celebrations that strengthened bonds within the teams.
Following the engagement surveys, the committee's mandate was expanded to include rolling out initiatives around the health of the company's people.


On the agenda: yoga classes, virtual boot camp, group meditation sessions, telemedicine, flexible schedules, and more.
Through a survey focused on health, employees were also invited to say explicitly what they would need in their daily lives to improve their wellbeing.
At the end of this initiative, every employee received a $1,500 budget to spend on sports gear, ergonomic upgrades to their workspace, or any other item that would boost their satisfaction at work.

The internal mentoring program was then revised to better support junior advisors in their professional development and their stress management.
