Detailed comparison
Both solutions were born in Montréal, but they do not meet the same need. Workleap Officevibe relies on short pulse surveys that managers follow up on themselves. Amélio relies on a scientific diagnostic that prioritizes levers, ready-made action plans for every manager and an organizational development advisor who supports you all the way to results.

Officevibe was designed to take the pulse of teams frequently, a few questions at a time. Its frequency is adjustable2, and scores are shared with managers, who discuss them with their team. It is simple, fast and easy to set up.
Amélio starts from a different premise: measuring is only the starting point. The platform measures in depth, shows where to act first, equips every manager, then tracks progress over time, with an advisor who supports you at every step5. The goal is not to get a score, it is to move it.
Officevibe draws on a bank of 122 questions tied to 10 key metrics and 26 sub-metrics, scored from 0 to 10. A change of 0.5 points or more is considered a trend4.
Amélio's diagnostic is built on the JD-R scientific model (job demands and resources), broken down into 12 factors and 40 sub-factors3. For each factor, the survey measures both satisfaction and the importance employees give it. Crossing the two, Amélio surfaces the two or three levers that really matter in your organization, instead of having you chase every low score.
Written comments are analysed by artificial intelligence, then results are compared with more than 750 organizations. The survey is available in 29 languages5.
What this changes in practice: a low score is not necessarily a priority. If employees give a factor little importance, improving it will change almost nothing. Conversely, a factor barely below average but considered very important may be driving your best people away. Amélio's prioritization makes that difference visible.
With Officevibe, employees can leave anonymous feedback and the manager can reply; Workleap provides a help centre and online resources6. In the sources consulted, we found no offer of support from an organizational development advisor included in the plan.
This is where most initiatives fail: a report lands and nobody knows where to start. With Amélio, every manager receives results already analysed for their team, more than 100 recommended actions and ready-to-use meeting plans5. An organizational development advisor, included in every plan, helps you read the results, build the plan and track progress over time7.
Amélio hosts its clients' data in Canada, on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, mainly in Québec, with encrypted backups that stay in Canadian regions. The platform is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and compliant with Quebec's Law 25, the GDPR and PIPEDA9.
For Officevibe, Workleap's data processing addendum places its internal database in a Microsoft Azure datacenter, without naming the region in the documents we consulted10. Its sub-processor list states that some vendors host Officevibe data in Canada11. If data residency is a requirement for you, ask for the commitment in writing.
Why it matters in Québec: under Law 25, a business that communicates personal information outside Québec must first carry out a privacy impact assessment (section 17 of the private sector act). Survey responses linked to teams are personal information. Choosing a vendor that keeps data in Québec simplifies compliance.
Since October 1, 2025, psychosocial risks are part of the mandatory content of occupational health and safety prevention in Québec, and existing establishments had until October 1, 2026 to apply their prevention program or action plan (see our article on Law 27).
Amélio offers a turnkey program: kickoff meeting, validated psychosocial risk survey, analysis, results presentation, prevention program templates adapted to your size, and support to set up worker participation bodies12. We found no Law 27 offering in Officevibe's public sources.
Amélio brings engagement and performance management (reviews with team context, self-assessments, multi-source feedback, goals, one-on-ones, career paths) together in the same platform7. What you learn about a team therefore informs the reviews of its members: managers assess what truly depends on the person, not the team's irritants.
Officevibe is first and foremost an engagement and recognition tool. Workleap offers other products under its brand13; check with the vendor which ones you need to cover performance, and at what price.
Amélio publishes its starting prices: a one-time engagement diagnostic from CA$2,550 (depending on headcount), continuous engagement from CA$3,850 per year, performance management from CA$3,850 and the complete offering from CA$5,000. The organizational development advisor is included in every plan. A two-year agreement gives an 8% discount and a three-year agreement 15%, with the price frozen for the full term7.
Workleap publishes Officevibe's prices on its website and offers a free trial156. To compare fairly, add up what each option really costs to reach the same result: the survey, the analysis, manager support, performance management and your HR team's time.
Our recommendation: if you are looking for a thermometer, Officevibe does the job well. If you want to actually move engagement, with a diagnostic that prioritizes, equipped managers and human support, Amélio goes much further.
Officevibe takes the pulse of teams with short, frequent surveys that managers follow up on themselves. Amélio measures in depth (12 factors, 40 sub-factors), prioritizes the two or three levers that matter, equips every manager with more than 100 recommended actions and includes an organizational development advisor.

Yes. Many organizations start with a one-time diagnostic with Amélio, from CA$2,550, to get a complete, prioritized picture, then move to continuous follow-up. The advisor helps you bridge with your previous results.
Officevibe starts self-serve, with a free trial. Amélio starts with a meeting with an advisor, but the platform connects to about thirty HRIS and the team handles the survey strategy and communication, which lightens your HR team's workload.
Amélio offers a dedicated Law 27 program, with a validated psychosocial risk survey, analysis, prevention program templates and support. We found no equivalent offering in Officevibe's public sources.
For Amélio, we describe our own offering as published on amelio.co. For the other solutions, we read their websites, help centres and legal documents, and we cite an independent directory only when the vendor does not publish the information (a price, for example). Facts were checked on November 3, 2026.

In 30 minutes, an advisor walks you through the diagnostic, the prioritization of levers and the managers' action plans, with a price based on your number of employees.
